Study to analyse the equality of men and women in the Austrian programme for rural development 2014-2020

Working and living conditions of men and women differ according to where they live and work. Especially younger women in rural areas are confronted with difficult situations due to factors like infrastructure, mobility, childcare services, political representation and so on. This results in an intensified migration into urban centers of young women.

The study at hand aimed at analysing to which extend equaltity of women and men are considered within the Austrian programme for rural development 2014-2020.

The study was conducted in cooperation with the ÖIR.
