“Viennese women with disabilities” – Retrospective of the 5th event!

Together with Heidemarie Egger, L&R Social Research is realising the barrier-free event series “Viennese women with disabilities” on behalf of the Vienna Women’s Department (MA 57).

The 5th event on 4 March focused on the topic of “Disability Plus”. The expert Tania Pilz reported on her experiences as a woman with a disability and a migration background. Based on her input, the influence and interaction of the various factors as gender, disability, migration background, queerness or older age was discussed. Almost 20 women with disabilities took part and engaged in intensive discussions, exchanged ideas and shared their experiences.

In May, the next event on the topic of “Being a mother, becoming a mother” will take place. Details on the location and date will follow soon!
