Company Survey as part of the “DigiUP4.0” Project

The Vienna Directorate of Education commissioned L&R Social Research and the ipcenter to conduct a study on the digital competences needed by youths and young adults in the working world of Industry 4.0 as part of an Austro-Hungarian Interreg project (brief information here).

What new digital skills are in demand? Where do companies notice gaps in the competences of apprentices or graduates of technical colleges?

In addition to the company survey, a literature and data analysis will also be carried out.

The Vienna Directorate of Education is working with various partners in Austria and Hungary on the basis of these results, among other things, to develop qualification modules for upskilling young people in digital skills.
