Workshop: Gender Mainstreaming at the Austrian Patent Office

The experience at the Austrian Patent Office shows that there is a considerably lower share of women than men applying for patents. The defined goal is to increase the share of women in patent registration. Building on a series of initial analyses and on the elaboration of recommendations, a seminar on gender mainstreaming was developed and held for employees at the Austrian Patent Office.
