Austrian-Slovak Experts Academy – a cross-border discussion forum (whole title)

Agenda: The Experts Academy provides structured information, discussions and networking opportunities for actors in labour market and employment policy in South Moravia, South Bohemia and Austria. It focuses mainly on the needs of regionally addressed development concepts.

In its approach the Experts Academy focuses on the following objectives:

  • Combating unemployment in the entire border region,
  • Conception, discussion and implementation of labour market and regional policy programmes and measures which have been newly conceived or have proven successful in the European Union,
  • Improvement and intensification of the communication and cooperation between the actors in the fields of politics, administration, economy, social partnership and civil society in the entire region,
  • Development of demand-oriented programmes and measures (e.g. implementation of a cross-border employment agreement),
  • Long-term establishment of the Austrian-Slovak Experts Academy as a think tank for the labour market and regional policy in the entire region.
