Secure housing in Vienna

The aim of the study was to identify hazard potentials of homelessness in the field of Vienna council homes. Based on administration data including facts about the apartment, lodgers, manners and costs, it should be examined, to what extend it can be predicted if a household has to be regarded as ‘vulnerable’ concerning secure housing.
Based on that knowledge it should be possible to support an outreaching secure housing through a specific setting of priorities.
The intention was to improve the accuracy of prevention measures of the outreaching work.
Data consited of pseudonymized data provided by Vienna housing (“Wiener Wohnen”), Vienna Municipal Council 24, Viennese Assistance to the Homeless (“Wiener Wohnungslosenhilfe”) and register of residents.
