Re-entry Monitoring in Austria and the Nine Provinces, 7th Version 2025

This project is the seventh version of the ongoing development and monitoring project for the Vienna Chamber of Labor. It focuses on the question of how employment trajectories around parental leave are structured in Austria and what changes and shifts in trends can be observed during the observation period among people on or with parental leave. Based on KBG data from spring 2025, returns to work at 24 months can be mapped for the cohorts 2006 to 2021 and returns to work at 12 months for the cohorts 2006 to 2022.

The design of the current return-to-work monitoring is based on the structure of table volumes and publications in the 2024 return-to-work monitoring, but provides for a number of redefinitions and also offers extensions in the basic modules, such as a reflection and deepening of the results based on national and international studies and special evaluations.
