Survey Results: Evaluation of AusbildungsFit and Pre-Module

03.06.2024

In the course of an evaluation by L&R Social Research, the ‘AusbildungsFit’ (AFit, formerly Production School) offers aimed at youth still having  maturity challenges were analysed in terms of their significance as well as their integrative, labour market policy impact.

The analyses show the value of the programmes: youth in the target group face multiple problems and experience various forms of discrimination and disadvantages, to which AusbildungsFit could react. In particular, an individualised approach, practical learning and less pressure to perform, compared to other structures in the training system could have a more positive effect on participant development. However, it is also evident that increased challenges (e.g. the coronavirus pandemic, wars and/or inflation) and upstream structural problems (especially in the education system) have created that obstacles that cannot fully be compensated for by the programme.
