Review of Our Storytelling Cafés in Pongau and Pinzgau

13.02.2025

As part of the project ‘Who counts? The value and diversity of the work of women 60+ in rural areas’, two storytelling cafés took place in Bischofshofen and Saalfelden. Almost 30 women aged 60+ talked about their lives, shared their experiences and discussed the range of reality of life in rural areas for women aged 60+.

The storytelling cafés served as the basis for the writing of anonymous short biographies, which were intended to depict the diversity and value of the work of women 60+ in rural regions.

School workshops were held in spring, where we used the short biographies to strengthen intergenerational exchange!

Articles of the storytelling cafés were also published in the Pinzgauer and Pongauer Nachrichten!
