Remote Work in the Danube Region

What motivates people to move (back) to rural areas, and what role do opportunities and conditions for remote working play in this?

L&R Sozialforschung has researched this question as a knowledge partner of the Interreg project Danube4rural.com.

An article on remote working in South-Eastern Europe published by the Italian web magazine “Osservatorio Balcani Caucaso” reported on the research findings of the Danube4rural.com project. Two of the study’s authors from L&R, Flavia Enengl and Kathrina Aufhauser, also share some research insights and put them into context.
