Kick-off of the Interreg Danube4Rural.com Project

Looking back on a successful kick-off of the Interreg Danube4Rural.com project last week in the beautiful region of Moravske Toplice in Slovenia! 👏

Many thanks to the lead partner the Municipality of Moravske Toplice for hosting us and to all partners for their active engagement and enthusiasm! It was inspiring to connect with partners from across the Danube Region, all committed to fostering innovation and resilience in rural communities.
Over the course of three days, we were able to set the groundwork for developing a transnational governance model consisting of solutions for making rural areas more attractive. One approach is to encourage remote workers to settle in these areas by better addressing their specific needs with targeted policies. In our role as knowledge partner, we at L&R focused on preparing the social research study that forms the basis for developing the policy solutions.
