Final conference ‘Gender Equality and Quality of Life in Austria’
05.11.2024
How can violence in the social neighbourhood be prevented? Is there a connection between the gender-equitable division of care work, gainful employment and the prevention of violence? The practical research project ‘Gender Equality and Quality of Life Austria (GEQ AT)’ provides answers to and insights into such questions. The Ministry of Social Affairs together with the Institute for Men’s and Gender Studies and in co-operation with L&R Social Research, cordially invites you to the final conference of GEQ AT. The results of the representative quantitative questionnaire survey (with its almost 2,300 respondents), in-depth qualitative interviews with more than 60 people and resulting recommendations that were developed in reflection groups of relevant experts in all federal states will be presented and discussed.
The final conference is taking place in Vienna on 28 November 2024 at the Ministry of Social Affairs (Gobelinsaal) from 10 am to 3 pm.
