Männer.MINT.CARE Company Peering

Employers often strive to create family-friendly working conditions. However, those responsible in companies are repeatedly faced with challenges and questions about how to deal with this in practice. The ‘Männer.MINT.Care’ project focuses on the reconciliation of family and career. A key objective is to create an exchange between companies in order to reflect on how to achieve this balance in a practical way, find new or different approaches and learn from each other.

A total of ten companies are involved in the ‘company peering’ process, with two companies entering into an in-depth exchange. In a further reflection workshop, representatives from all companies are involved in order to further discuss the findings and jointly identify obstacles and successful approaches and methods.

The results will be compiled in a report and a practical brochure. This is intended to serve as a guide for the participating companies – as well as other STEM companies in Austria – with practical concepts, procedures and offers relating to the compatibility of family, free time and professional life.
