Evaluation of the waff Programmes for Employed Women and Parents on Parental Leave in Vienna
The objective of the evaluation is to systematically review, analyse and present the strategic orientation and objectives of the two waff programmes ‘Women Seize Opportunities – FRECH’ and ‘Parental Leave and Return to Work – KAWI’. A particular focus is on the extent to which the respective target groups are addressed, what experiences they have had with the programmes and what benefits they have been able to derive from them.
To answer these questions, a methodologically sound use of quantitative and qualitative procedures is planned. These include, in particular, literature, document and file analyses, standardised online surveys and qualitative survey methods such as guided interviews and focus groups. Another key component is the identification and evaluation of relevant examples of good practice from Austria and the international context. The comparative findings derived from this are intended to make a direct contribution to the further development of the two programmes and to highlight potential transferability to the specific context.
