This study contains the results of a company survey as well as an overview of the economic and labour market situation in the Austro-Hungarian border region. The priorities as regards contents are thereby qualification requirements in the border region and company basic and advanced training strategies.
The main results show that the companies feel that both East Austria and West Hungary have a considerable qualification deficit, and that this does not only concern the professional vocational level of the (mainly technical) specialists, but is also noticeable for example in the key qualification field.
